Outdoor Natural Light Portraits

  1. When selecting focus points never select them all for portrait pictures.
  2.  For a shallow depth of field You should shoot at a wide aperture.
  3. Never shoot a portrait at 50mm or less the picture will look distorted, aim for 70mm+ for a portrait.
  4. When shooting a picture with a person or animal always shoot at eye level.
  5. Keep random objects out of focus as to not interfere with the subject you are photographing.
