Hello my name is Domanik and this is my blog page. I was born in Whittier Ca, raised in Ontario Ca. I love art and the many forms that it can form too. I love learning new subjects, and growing to appreciate them. I am Hispanic, or more specifically I’m Nicaraguan. My mom moved here when she was 8 and had me when she was 18. But pushed through and got her college degree in psychology. She inspires me to work hard everyday.
Exposure in photography is how the camera interprets levels of darkness or light. In order to properly manage exposure you have to be sufficient in three categories. The first being aperture. The second being ISO. And finally the shutter speed. These are the core of exposure in photography. Aperture is how you control the light that enters the camera. ISO is what controls the motion/ sensitivity of the camera or object. The shutter speed is what controls the time of exposure. On most cameras you can adjust these three settings. To make the photo optimized to your liking.
The aperture setting adjust the area in which the light enters the lens. It is specified as f in terms of settings. And raising the f decrease the area of exposure. most cameras are optimized to have this setting pre adjust. The ISO setting determines how sensitivity it will be when light reflects off the object. ISO when low increases the image quality. ISO when high lowers the image quality. This setting can be adjusted by default on almost all cameras. The shutter speed determines the amount of time the camera sensor is opened to light. the shutter speed by far has the most control on exposure. essentially it is the exposure setting. It is also the easiest setting to adjust compared to other settings. Placement of the camera also affects the exposure. In conclusion there is a lot that goes into the exposure of a photo. And I hope I learn more in the months to come.
